2016 ICHO HOTEL INFORMATION

A block of rooms has been reserved at the InterContinental Hotel New Orleans for 2016 ICHO participants and exhibitors. A group rate of $239 per night for a single or double room has been arranged (plus applicable taxes of 14.75% and a $2.00 room occupancy fee). Complimentary wireless internet will be available in all guest rooms.

The deadline for reservations is April 7, 2016. Any reservations received after this date will be honored on a space available basis at the hotel’s prevailing rate.

Online reservations can be made HERE or by calling (800) 445-6563. Please be sure to mention you will be attending the 2016 ICHO Meeting.

Our negotiated ICHO rate is about 50% of the normal rate so please be sure to make your hotel reservations before April 7th. ICHO has guaranteed enough rooms for most of our projected number of attendees. Please understand that a commitment is made to the host hotel that a specified number of hotel rooms will be occupied by the congress attendees. In exchange for the hotel room occupation, we are provided with complimentary meeting space, along with many other cost-saving concessions. If you do not make your reservations on or before the April 7th deadline you may be without a room and ICHO will be assessed penalties for not meeting our guaranteed room block. Making your reservation saves you money and helps protect the ICHO financially.

The ICHO planning committee has become aware of companies pretending to be the “official” ICHO housing company, offering special non-refundable rates at ICHO hotels, and requesting credit card information. Companies identified in this scam include, but may not be limited to:

Contact by any other entity other than ICHO, STM, ESHO or ASHO should be considered a scam. All attendees and exhibitors should be aware that no one from ICHO, STM, ESHO or ASHO solicits directly by telephone for hotel bookings or special discounts. You should book your hotel room on the registration page for the conference through this link only.

If you have been contacted by any of the scam groups listed above please email the ICHO/STM business office immediately at stm@allenpress.com so that we can verify through the proper channels that your hotel reservation at the InterContinental Hotel is secured.
